By accessing or using Paintapp (paintapp.org), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

Paintapp is a web-based image editing application. The service allows you to create, edit, and save images in your browser. Optional features include cloud storage integration and user accounts.

3. User Accounts

• You may use Paintapp without an account for basic functionality
• Creating an account requires a valid email address
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• You may delete your account at any time through Account → Delete Account

4. Your Content

• You retain all rights to images and content you create using Paintapp
• Images are processed locally in your browser - we do not claim any ownership
• You are responsible for backing up your work
• When using cloud storage integrations, your files are governed by those services' terms

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service
• Interfere with or disrupt the service
• Use automated tools to access the service without permission
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

6. Intellectual Property

• Paintapp's code, design, and branding are our intellectual property
• You may not copy, modify, or distribute Paintapp without permission
• Open source components are subject to their respective licenses

7. Third-Party Services

Paintapp integrates with third-party services (Google, Dropbox, OneDrive). Your use of these integrations is subject to those services' terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Paintapp is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Data will never be lost (always save backups locally)
• The service will meet your specific requirements

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Paintapp shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or profits.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the service at our discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these terms or is harmful to other users or the service.

12. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by the laws of Norway, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
